The village church, the Peter Church and the St. Margarethen Chapel in Münster are gems in both an architectural and cultural sense. The Parish Museum also holds many curiosities and treasures. And finally, the ancient, almost pitch-black traditional houses remind the visitor of a way of life that seems remote but is in fact alive and well.

Do you believe in legends, in adventure stories about giants, ghosts and poor souls? Then Geschinen is the place for you because Weger Baschi, a legendary muleteer who allegedly experienced the most incredible adventures on the high mountain passes, was born here. Today Geschinen boasts a monument to his mighty deeds – and in one of the many cosy restaurants with their outstanding wine cellars you're sure to find a storyteller who will be happy to relate an anecdote from Baschi's colourful life.

Every summer the «Baschi Triathlon» is held at the lake in Geschinen. You can go for a swim in the cool waters of the lake (never more than 19°C) or relax on the lawn. Glider pilots have been meeting in Münster in July and August since the 1960s. A team of experienced pilots from the participating glider groups offers passenger flights on behalf of the Münster Airfield Cooperative. In winter the two family-friendly ski lifts in Münster-Geschinen offer great skiing. And for those who just can't get enough, there is floodlit skiing at night in Geschinen.
