Cancellation insurance

When you rent a holiday apartment, you also have the opportunity to take out cancellation insurance so that if a member of your party or a close relation becomes ill, has an accident or dies or if there is severe damage to property at home, the unused portion of the rent is refunded.

Visitor's tax

Visitor's tax is commonly levied in tourist destinations in Switzerland and is used, among other things, to finance tourist facilities, leisure centres, sports centres and special events. Visitors renting holiday accommodation are obliged to complete the official visitor forms. A booklet of registration forms will be provided by the landlord of your property and should be available in all holiday apartments. Otherwise please report to the Tourist Information Centre within three days of your arrival. Hotel guests normally complete the registration form as part of their check-in process. The visitor's tax is payable per person and overnight stay:
