Nowhere else in Europe can you drive as close to a glacier as to the ice grotto in the Rhone Glacier. The grotto is located at just under 2300m above sea level on the Valais side, 3 km below the Furka Pass, Belvédère town sign, about 180 m from the Furka Pass road and the Belvédère Hotel. Enjoy the glacier panorama viewing platform and soon the planned glacier lake platform and the glacier nature trail.
