Forst Goms is a municipal association under public law that operates between Binntal and Obergoms. The most important task is to maintain the protective function of the Goms forests through targeted and sustainable interventions. The forest on the slopes above villages and infrastructure such as roads and railroad tracks is essential for the prevention of natural hazards such as avalanches, rock slides and mudslides. We are also responsible for the mowing and maintenance of the Goms hiking trails, the construction of new playgrounds and we manufacture garden furniture from local wood in our carpenter's workshop.
